That's 'Pharos', the new lighthouse boat. Probably servicing the light on the Voder rock. There's a lot of tide out there, so not a nice place to work

Hi. Heimdal.. I was watching it for about a half-hour.. It was doing a fair bit of zig-zaging, probably to avoid the reefs out there..

Seeing as it was a bit stormy today, me and da dog went to Eshaness to see if the waves were good. I drove in the Leascole road where you can get a good view of Da Grind O Da Navir without havine to walk too far. The waves weren't breaking over the Grind, but I did spot this.......

Here are some boats I spotted today as I was getting blown along the promenade at Rhos on Sea. It was very, very, very, very COLD!!!! ..........and a little gull headed straight for me as I was taking this photo. I have spent a bit of time playing around with it in PS2 to get the colours brighter. I might as well make the most of my last days of the Christmas hols!

Would any of you old pro's out there like to assist a photo virgin?
Never been motivated to post a photo until now.....don't have the faintest foggiest of where or how to start.....this will have to be a proper "idiot's guide"!
Thanks in advance (and hope).

Hi bonna I downloaded Microsoft's image resizer from Image Resizer then you just have to right click on any photo that you have on your computer to resize it to the size you want - it saves it with a new name too for you so your original is still intact. For use on here, you need to use maybe 640x480pixel size but you can also have a bigger version in your photobucket account and then just post the link to there in your post on here - hope that makes sense - it is easier when you come to do in it practice! ;D Then you need to go to Photobucket to set up an account to use for storing your photos online and then upload your photos to your Photobucket account and then you link them to your posts on here as per George's instructions above There was a post somewhere on here to tell you all about it but I am in themiddle of getting decorations down and packed away so can't stay to hunt it out for you at the moment.

Many thanks to all for their helpful advice.
I'll be giving it a go when I've: a) got plenty of time, and b) a soothing glass of gin beside me!
Watch this space (but not with your breath held....)
