Talk of photos in other bits of the forum had me delving into the 'back catelogue' of ones i took over Christmas holidays... one of Ronas Hill that i hadn't really looked at before... Ronas Hill from near Burgan Loch It's not great, just about does what the title says... looking forward to having time to take photos around shetland with the ever growing photographic knowledge... (i've been reading up on a bit of photographic theory... the 'how to capture "National Geographic" type moments' malakry and looking at such photos trying to figure out what i like about them and why, with intentions to initially start a copying process and then in time things might morph with my own take... that and technical mumbo-jumbo... i like photo's i do) *looks up HND courses in photography... *

Picture postcard perfect, NortOwer! Sell it!!! ;D Like it very much. It's sometimes amazing that a very simple photograph (i.e. - one with not a great deal of detail) can be the most effective. Basically moorland, wall, rock and hill. Very impressed. This one is local to me - sunrise at Hafod Ddu with moon and flock of birdies..........................

I'll get a batch to the Ollaberry shop in that case... "from his first postcard, the path to a photographic monopoly came suprisingly quickly... once he'd finished his law degree, studied an HND in photography, he was in demand from the off..." *dreams...*
I'm liking the flock of birds very much... i'm a bit of a night photography fan... maybe because its the most chance i get to do it myself at the moment. But i do like the birdies in the moonlight...
