When I got home tonight I thought that I would go for a quick walk with the pup in a wood near here. Although I have lived in this part of the world for ages now I had never been to this beautiful wood which is literally just down the road. It was full of bluebells which were a beautiful sight! ;D

Perhaps this is common among daffodils, but I have never noticed it until today, TWO heads on the one stalk.

They are lovely! I especially love the water lilies. Don't see many of those at all except in ornamental gardens.

When you bear right at the brig o waa [ lower brouster loch.. tidal. ] you go a few miles then you'll see a very overgrown lochan beside the road [on the left side ] its past lunga water..

Just as I thought George, I have spent the odd half hour by the side of this little lochan myself, it is not very far from Brunatwatt which is where I stay when in Shetland. ;D

Are you sure it's Sandwick you mean and not Sandness? Sorry if I'm miles off course! Lovely photos both George and Benjiesmum ;D
