The SIC are organising a food festival from 3 - 12 October this year for the first time. There are plenty of opportunities for local food producers in Northmavine to get involved either through a Northmavine stall at the farmers market in the Clickimin centre, as an eaterie who'd like to put on a special local produce menu during the festival or as a person/group who'd like to do a food workshop of some description in Northmavine.
With regard to the stall idea - Northmavine could have a stall of its' own showcasing different food products grown in the area. The SIC is producing a brochure to highlight all the different events and experiences taking place during the food festival and is happy to promote anything that folk intend doing.
