Making an image into a linkI was just thinking that folk are now old hands using the forum and might like to know a few more tricks. The forum uses BB Code <bulletin board code>. Here's how to make an image into a link <ie, click on the image to go to a website> This is the code in my post with the car sharing logo - {url=http://ifyoucareshare.com}{img}http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/cope/webpix/carsharelogo.jpg{/img}{/url} It looks complicated but it's not really. It's just the image in the middle <with the 'img' brackets> and the URL stuff wrapped around it. Easiest way is to copy & paste it and put your own info in. NB - take out curly brackets and put in square ones [ ]

Well Fiona, I am always very keen to learn new things to do with the internet but this went right over my head and away!!! I can't understand where you got the image from in the first place! I looked at the website you have the image for but I can't see it anywhere to copy - and I presume you have to copy it somehow. But I want to learn how to do it. So please can you explain!! Oh dear....I don't know.....

I think Fiona has the image stored on her own webspace at zetnet - this part is where the image is stored benjiesmum - www.users.zetnet.co.uk/cope/webpix/carsharelogo.jpg i.e Fiona uses zetnet webspace and carsharelogo is the name of the file which is in her webspace called cope at zetnet- I think!

Yes, as DL says, I have webspace with Zetnet <the ISP, internet service provider, which originated in Shetland> and the photo is on there. Here it is with the image coming from my Photobucket which might make it look more familiar, Benji. {url=http://ifyoucareshare.com}{img}http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/F1F1_2007/carsharelogo.jpg{/img}{/url} Remember the curly brackets are just to show you the code. It should be square brackets.
