If you have problems logging in and posting, you could try the following - <Only change your settings if you are having problems! You could make a note of settings before you change anything, so that you can change it back if you want.> 1. Make sure the time and date on your computer is correct. <double click time in right hand bottom corner of screen> 2. Try selecting 'forever' when you attempt to log in. 3. Check to make sure you have cookies enabled in your browser. In Internet Explorer - - Click on 'tools' on the top menu bar on your browser.
- Click on 'Internet Options' on the drop-down menu.
- On the window that pops up, click on the 'privacy' tab.
- Drag the slider so that the arrow is on 'low'.
- Click 'ok'.
In Firefox - Tools > options> privacy - look for the 'cookies' section. Make sure it has 'accept all' ticked. 4. Make sure that your firewall isn't blocking the forum. 5. If all else fails and you are using Internet Explorer, you could try a different browser. Firefox and Opera are good browsers and can be downloaded - www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/www.opera.com/

Hi Fiona That's me managed to log in from home. It was the time thing. I hadn't noticed that my date had jumped 2 days ahead. Thanks Pat

I find I now have to log in every time I visit the forum. The 'keep me logged in' box seems to have no effect. Originally, there was the 'forever' option but this is gone now. I'm using Opera, same as ever. Anyone else with this problem ?

Hi' Heimdal, I have checked mine by going off line and back on, the connection seems to be OK for me at the moment

Well, it seems to be related to Opera as I find if I use Google Chrome I stay logged in. Hopefully problem solved. Thanks for the replies.
