Hi all Michael, who updates our website, is really busy nooadays and is sadly leaving us. Thanks Michael for all your work over the past 2 years The website has now been running for four years and it's a good opportunity to update the look and the format perhaps? We would like to be more reactive here at the office and be able to add content ourselves......stories, pictures etc. There are lots of pictures on the forum for example that folk have asked to be added to the main website - if we were able to do this from the office we could react quicker and make sure that the site always has something new A blog might also be a good idea? It would be good to get your feedback on the proposed changes to the site. Would you like to see it updated? Should we leave it as it is? I'll get some more info on what content the new site might have and get back to you all. Look forward to hearing fae you maree

It's a while now fae I posted that we were considering updating the website so that we could manage the content from the office and be able to add items more readily/generally be more responsive.
The past year has been really busy at the office and I'm sorry to say I've only just managed to meet with the new web-man, John Clayton. John has lots of experience with designing and setting up websites and he's really enthusiastic about the Northmavine site.
Fiona did such a great job when she originally designed and produced the website, that it's difficult to find anything that we'd like to change as far as the website layout goes.
Other than being able to add content from the office, we're also planning to link the site to a facebook page, so viewers of the site will be able to add text/photos/links etc there.
We're planning to keep the forum going at the moment and see how things progress when the revised site has been up and running for a while. Posts on the forum are so few nowadays, that we may well discontinue it and use the facebook posting opportunities instead - time and forum members will tell!!
Thanks to everyone who looks in on the site and I hope the revamp will encourage you all to keep looking. Hope it also attracts new visitors as well.
Please let us know of any ideas/thoughts you have on how we can improve the website. cheers maree
