Is there ever a grammatical reason for putting an S on the end of Shetland! Personally i think NOT, It really annoys me when people do that, nearly as much as when they say "are you going to Scotland again" Edumacation is what's required methinks ;D

Interesting question. But you couldn't say: "I love the Shetland." ....... then really he should say "I love the Shetland Isles." But then people say: I love the Orkneys." I love the Scillies." Errrmmmm.....I don't know - maybe it's because he is French? ?? Now what really gets me is the apostrophe - don't start me on that one!!! ;D

I'm with you fred!! We live in a place called Shetland and Novelli should just 'Love Shetland'.......like the rest of us ;D ;D
