Thanks, Benji & Malcolm. Just a heads up to let any chocoholics or tablet-o-holics know that I'm having a clear out of Shetland Fudge stuff as it's nearing the end of the season. Boxes & bags of fudge and boxes of tablet reduced - quite a bit at half price! Going quickly tho'.

Just to let folks know that, due to public demand , we're opening Oily Muggie for Christmas shopping, starting Sat 7th Nov, open every weekend up to Christmas. So we're open this weekend, Sat & Sun from 12-5pm. More stock arriving, some lovely new things handmade by a lady in Stirling who draws with her sewing machine - including groovy notebooks, tea cosies, coffee cosies, bagdges, etc with caravans, bunting, chickens, flowers & more on them. Hope to get Glansin Glass fae Unst. More felted goodies heading down from Unst from felt goddess, Pauline Walsh, plus lovely new felted things from KZFeltz in Brae. Too many other things to mention, but new kinds of boxed Shetland china mugs at £7.99, including Northmavine, Shetland Forever In My Heart, Shetland Born & Bred, etc - see them here - www.facebook.com/OilyMuggie - limited quantities. Hope to see you in Oily Muggie, plus new things on the Designed in Shetland website too if you're too far away to make it to Northmavine! Ordering is still fine through the strikes. We tend to allow plenty of leeway with delivery times quoted for each item, so things usually arrive faster than expected, within a couple of days or so, but please allow a little longer, just in case!

Congratulations on the success of Oily Muggie Fiona!! I want to buy it all. I checked out the website also. The shop looks so nice. I really like the items you have for sale. Can't wait to visit in June. I just may have to order some mugs, etc. before that though.

Thanks benjiesmum. Very glad to be back. Had a bout with cancer starting last June, and threw me off my stride. Doing well now and busy planning my trip to Shetland in June for Hamefarin 2010. I have been looking back through the entries to catch up on what has been happening in Shetland and with my friends on the Forum. The photos of your sheep are adorable

Thank you, I am happy to be doing well also. Benji - will you be going to Shetland for the Hamefarin? I am looking forward to all the events. Of course, there will be a LOT more people there than during our last trip. Guess it will be a different experience. Iam hoping it is a great experience for Shetlanders (is that the right word??)

We've already had a number of tourists confused about whether we're open 7 days a week as our advert in Shetland Visitor states, or whether we're closed on Wednesdays as the blurb says. Just in case you hear of any confuzzled peeps, they did get it wrong in the blurb and the ad is indeed correct - open 7 days a week - 10-5pm including Wednesdays!!
