They really are becoming cheecky chappies George! Mind you, I blame the owner. It's like having naughty children.....I don't think you set firm ground rules when they moved in. well its partly that - but they also say that children mimic their parents. George, the first flower is a honeysuckle, they are very pretty and usually have a lovely fragrance. Think I also spied a Petunia, lovely colours but its not a flower a grow cos when you deadhead them they are very sticky. Good shots

didn't know where to put this, just to say the farmer in the field at the back was doing his last bit of gardening today. He has been rained off so many times and I would think the only thing his crop is good for this year is animal feed.

What!!!!! Snow at this time of the year....I don't beleive it. Well, no, I suppose I do because we had hailstonesd here the other day and there was a frost on my car windows for the first time this year. Orion is back too - which always means that winter is on its way. My poor tiny swallows are still here though - or at least they were last night. Poor little mites. I wish they would start flying south.

Oh'dear :- , Benjiesmum, they will have to make their heels crack when they finally try to fly South. Perhaps scoop them up and ask a driver who is traveling South to give them much needed help.

I saw on the weather you were in for some snow, it seems strange to see it at this time of year. Weather down here is not too bad at the moment but there is a nip in the air and the mornings seem very cold with a biting wind
