What a pretty colour the second one is maree! THere have been pics of Shetlands before - but where, I can't remember. Shetlands are so popular down here. At the show on Saturday there were loads of entries - more than any other breed, I was told. I love them. Some friend of mine have three cheeky ones - all rescued from an outhouse in the middle of Liverpool - you can't believe people would keep them in such terrible conditions. They've had them for years now and they run around all day. I expect they have forgotten their past life now. ;D I think Shetlands are really cute.

Maree, sounds like you had a good couple of days.
The ponies are lovely and both look so fluffy. The second one is an unusual colour, never seen one like that before, are there many like that or are they mainly black and brown. How old do you think these were.

I met this well-trained pony on the way to Tangwick, pulled in to a passing place. (Actually I think she was using the post to scratch her neck) Taken through the windscreen.

Sorry Heimdal, missed this one before. Great shot, think they are lovely animals, doesn't look bothered by your presence.
George, didn't know they wandered down onto beaches, what a nice sight, so how many wild ponies do you think there are and what do they do when it gets really cold.
