The Interpretation Nort group summer exhibition, Nort Trow, held it's launch today for invited local guests. As well as the splendid exhibition, there's a fabulous selection of arts and crafts on sale; most of which have been produced in Lochend and North Roe.
I spent more than I had in my purse.......thanks for the len o a tenner ob!!........and came home with a selection of goodies including:
A painting of Gunnister, a drawing of an otter, a Fair Isle printed handbag, a peerie leaflet about Fethaland, "Tossie and Tippie" ( a local trowie couple!!) notepad and postcards, handmade cards and the most beautiful cockleshell knitted scarf.
I'd recommend a browse. The exhibition is open from Tuesday 27th May and will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10 - 4 and Sunday 10 - 6.
