Here is Louis. He belongs to my friend Anne. He is a fluent speaker, sings at leat 30 songs and theme tunes and is always busy doing something. He is rarely in his cage. His wolf whistle has to be heard to be believed!

look a nice pair of birdies there George. Love the colour of the red one - very striking birdie. The other one's cute!

I don't think I've seen a bird coloured like the red one before - yes, very striking!

Sorry to hear about perky george. I mind, as a bairn, having a succession of budgies as they never seemed to last very long. One minute they'd be sitting on the curtain poles droppin peerie calling cards and the next they'd be feet up in the bottom of the cage

Sorry to hear about Perky George, was he quite old or do they have a short life. Have you a dog or anything like that, just thinking with you going out and about alot it would be good company for you.

As far as I know, Perky was about two years old when I got it Bod..I think they grow to quite an age, my son has one and it's over 20 years old....I still have Pinky, it's only about 9 months old.. I like dogs, but would'nt have one, as I go off the Island quite regularly to my daughter's bit...I dont want to offend anyone.. but I don't like cat's.. ;D

Yeh, I suppose that's the trouble with any animal, they are very tying and the problem arises of what to do with them when you go away. As much as I don't mind animals myself it wouldn't be fair on them when we are all out at work and they do need alot of caring for.
