I didn't ackshully say anything, but in terms of the Disability Discrimination Act and all that jazz - stuff that is flashing too much is not particularly good as it can cause epileptics to have a fit. Edit: I would think your gorggggeeous sparkly lips are probably ok - it's more the wildly flashing annoying stuff we don't want..

Great stuff, specialk. Be yourself and you'll be absolutely fine. I know munky's been getting cv advice advice at uni - not sure if he's had any interview advice. You'll probably know the basics already and know how to present yourself well, but generally looking smart and presentable without being over the top is a good start. Know a bit about the company you're going to see so that you have some understanding of what they're about and so you can drop some relevant knowledge into the conversation. <in a subtle manner > When you are introduced to the interviewer/s, smile and shake hands, say 'pleased to meet you' or whatever. Generally have an open and friendly manner and look them in the eye. The 'inter' in 'interview' means 'between' - it's a meeting and exchange between you and the interviewer/s, so prepare some questions to ask them in advance. Interviews often end in, 'so, do you have any questions for us?'. If they don't, say to them, 'Would you mind if I ask a few questions?' It shows you are interested and willing to find out information. Wonder if others out there have some gems of experience they can offer specialk and other young folk embarking on interviews?

Good luck with the interviews specialk. Good advice from Fiona. Just remember the 90/90 rule i.e. 90% of opinions about people are formed in the first 90 seconds of meeting them so initial impressions count. Remember your body language, be open with it and don't fold your arms, it creates a barrier. Just be prepared for "so tell me a little bit about yourself". Hope they go well, keep us posted, by the way what are they for, what sort job do you hope to get in the future?

Oh dear spk. That's all you need when you are trying to study hard. I do hope that everything is sorted out soon. Maybe a few drinks in the Magnies wouldn't go amiss. Ive left you your favourite tipple on the table next to the fire! Is it still a gin and apple Tango perchance!!!
