Another thread I seem to have missed! What a lovely peaceful place it looks to be - apart from the quad bikes on the beach not too sure about them. We used to get plagued by kids on quad bikes but the local constabulary came down hard on them. Ollaberry Bay looks just delightful.

Mal, what a beautiful view you have from your garden, must be a great tonic first thing in the morning to see that. Lucky you.
I also missed this thread when you started it, your pictures sum up the beauty of the place, peace and quiet with secluded beaches - I don't mind the quad bikes, I think there seems to be enough space for everyone, it's not as though the beaches are crowded and at least they aren't hanging around on street corners drinking and doing drugs. There is too much of that in the main cities and as for the increase in people carrying knives - well I won't get on my soapbox about that.
No - I say let them ride their quad bikes - nothing wrong with harmless fun.

Lovely pics as usual of a very beautiful place. Fancy seeing the sun, Mallly! What a shock that must have been - well, it was for me that's for sure.
I still hate quad bikes bodlet! Too many kiddies have accidents on them - and have even been killed using them.
