Many enthusiastic gardeners are in love with the beautiful flowers of the desert rose or Adenium obesum which is a striking plant with swollen succulent stems and deep red flowers. You will see that though this plant is deciduous in cooler winters, you could keep it in leaf if you provide sufficient warmth and light water to it. Almost all parts of the plant command the interest of people from the dramatically swollen stems on older plants to the bright flowers to the tight clusters of narrow, green leaves. Also it is recommended that you should clean your hands immediately with lots of water if you get sap on yourself while you handle with the plant.
Desert rose plants prefer full sun and it is considered to be perfect for a sunny window. Also, you should care to water the plant during the summer and spring but it is important that you need to reduce water in the winter; though it is important that you keep it hydrated enough to retain its leaves. Also, you should notice to keep at least 50º temperature at all times. And it is certified by so many experienced gardeners that if you keep temperatures of 60º or higher during the winter, the desert rose plant may retain its leaves.
