What would it take to coordinate local use of the post office such that it was swamped with business during those pathetic few hours open? Might be the only way to ever get the hours increased

There is a machine at the shop george but it isn't up and running yet. The new manager, Sheila, started work this past week so I'll have a word wi her and see if she plans to set it up again. I think it would be handy for folk who'd like a peerie cup o coffee or tea etc to take on a walk. I'll keep you updated geordie boy

Yes Sheltie, the post office is now open in the shop on a Monday morning from 10am - 12.30pm and every Thursday from 3pm - 5.30pm. I agree that the hours aren't much better than they were and I also agree with mrgluss that we need to overwhelm the service during the hours it is open. It's the only way Post Office Ltd is ever going to consider extending the hours.
