Just the one up to now Maree! He's a little sweetie! Not a very good piccie I'm afraid - doesn't do him justice. His mum is an excellent mother - always loves her lambies!

He's a smart lookin peerie felloo bm! It makes such a difference when mum WANTS to tend to her peerie offspring! Mr maree and Daddy maree usually spend lots of time, during the lambing, with gimmers who have to be pinned to the wall before the peerie lamb can even get a suck I think sometimes they're scared of the lamb and are just not sure where it's come from and what they're supposed to do.........but other times they're just plain nasty...........a bit like humans I suppose!!

I agree with that entirely. I've spent many happy hours persuading sheep to love their lambs too! This year they are mostly experienced mums who all love their lambies which is great to watch. I've one in the shed at the moment though who is a first timer - not lambed yet - overdue but will probably lamb in the middle of the night when I could do without it!

Here are a few more piccies of my lambies. I am still waiting for two stragglers but I have six lambs up to now. Four ewe lambs and two ram lambs. Here is the little man born first. Hasn't he grown! Then a little ewe lamb looking very interested in something. A lovely little ewe lamb basking in the sun. Twin ewe lambs.
