Red Admirals and Robins....must be a real indication of what we have done to the planet. Red admirals are, to me, a sign of Summer and the Robin signifies that snow is on the way! Huge climatic contrasts!

There seemed to be a lot of red admirals around, especially at the start of the summer and I see they still are mid October!

I videoed an Otter this afternoon, unfortunatly it did not turn out very good, I will perhaps try again tomorrow, it was swimming close to the rocks then came out of the sea and climbed over the rocks then it saw me and dived back into the sea

Was the foxglove taken recently? If so the weather really is freaky!

Pat. It was taken in my garden at the end of August, we had been away on holiday for two months,..when we returned it had grown to six feet,..I thought it was really nice but my wife said it was just a weed.. I thought it would be a good picture so I took a couple of pics.of it. .. . Where it came from I do not know, the seeds must have been windblown..

There are more and more windblown foxgloves around. They do reasonably well here in Shetland.

I'm beginning to wonder if you dress up as a giant otter and proclaim to the 'King Ot of the Otter World"... your otter spotting ability is suspicious.... vvvery suspicious ;D But also very welcome ... I like otters, i must admit (thats not really something i'd need to "admit" to... never mind)

Hi. David.. Who shopped on me, . It isnt very difficult to spot them.. if you know where they are, they seem to keep to their own territory, so go there and wait till they appear, then shoot them..[with your camera]. The last picture I put on the forum was taken two days ago. a bit blurred, but i think it showed a family of four or five , two were diving as I took the picture.. I still would like to get them on video to show on da forum...
