Tomos the Terrible escaped yesterday.............................. Took water cannon (hosepipe) and an hour of chasing him through the shrubbery before he surrendered. He wasn't caught, oh no, just gave himself up, cos he was hungry ! He is now under double lock security with a large window weight tied to one leg !

So that's the kettlins' mum! My what a gorgeous cat she is lochender. She doesn't look like she is missing them. Own cushion too - or is it her own chair as well. She looks very clean too - she must spend a great deal of her time keeping herself that immaculate. Those paws are spotless! Lovely I thought you'd like to know that the word"kettlin" is catching on fast down here. I nominate it for the award of "Word of the Year".

Her is Tomos Kettlin. He is growing up very fast. All my ornaments have been stored away in boxes for the time being to save them getting broken. Nothing is safe at the moment.

Sounds like he's in charge at the moment, he's a nice little cat, I've always liked Ginger ones, remember Twix.

Well, Tomos Ketlin had an adventure today. He went to school with me this morning. We set off at 6.00 a.m. He was in his cat basket all the way there. He went to help a new Year 7 who is not happy coming into school. But she loves cats. ;D Tomos was so good. He came out of his basket and the little girl gave him a cuddle. She wrote some stuff down about him and then went home with mum to do some more writing. She stayed in school for the longest she has managed since September. I was so proud of Tomos - he was as good as gold.

Well done Tomos! Wir Felix has had an eventful couple of days. Turned up first thing yesterday morning with a big chunk out of his bum. Not a good start to the day when hubby says - don't panic but... Not sure if it was a dog or an otter. Mr Fifi took him to the vet, where he got stitches and stayed overnight. Back home today and looking fetching with this season's look - the lampshade on the head look. All ze cool catz will be wantin' it.. He's doin' ok - found his appetite after not eating anything for a day or so and now curled up on the chair snoozin' by the <paper> log fire.

Oh dearie me, poor Felix. He must be feeling very sore. Lots of rest and pampering that's what he needs now. Funny when they've got one of those plastic thingies round their head - our dog has had one on a few times and even though it is see-through he still banged into things all the time!

Well done to Tomos bm. I've heard of slightly similar shemes where dogs are brought into care homes to help settle residents. Poor Felix Fi.....not only has he had a nasty bit on da bum, but he canna get a good scratch for the lampshade . My sympathies are with you if you're trying to administer antibiotics.....both of our cats ended up with nasty absesses a few months ago - resulting in nasty scratches for moi as I tried to pack doon the antibiotics. I was eventually given a couple of good tips a) hide the tablets in a dollop of margarine.....worked a treat.... and b) wrap the cat up in a towel whilst popping the tablet to the back of the cat's throat.

You shouldn't larf really.. but yes, Felix also kept banging into doors, etc. As well as being confuzzled when his scratching attempts didn't work, his washing attempts left him a bit puzzled also.. Re the scratches from administering anti-bs <ouch!>, thankfully Felix is fine getting tablets. I think I used to try to put them in his food, etc but he was good at spittin' them oot! Gave up on that a long time ago and now he gets them popped in his mouth, hold his head up momentarily and hey presto! Gone! Quick as anything. He gets them before food then gets rewarded with a nice feed afterwards.
